What is Throwaway account on Reddit?
A throwaway account is a temporary account someone makes to post about something private without linking it to their main profile.
People use them for personal topics. It is a normal and accepted habit.
If you are promoting something
Do not use throwaways to hide that you are promoting something. That is deceptive, and readers are quick to notice a brand new account that only talks about one product.
