Reddit glossary
What is Reddit threads in search results on Reddit?
This is when a Reddit thread shows up in Google or an AI assistant's answer, often for questions about what to buy or use.
People now add the word reddit to a search to get opinions from real users. Search engines have noticed, and threads often appear on the first page for comparison and review searches.
AI assistants can also use public discussions when they answer questions about products. Which sources they use can change at any time.
If you are promoting something
A thread that ranks can keep sending readers for years. It is worth finding the ones that rank for your buyers' searches and adding an honest, useful answer where the rules allow.
