What is Modmail on Reddit?

Each subreddit has one shared inbox for its mods. When you write to it, all the mods can see your message and reply.

People use it to ask if something is allowed, to appeal a removal, or to report a problem that does not fit the normal report button.

If you are promoting something

Keep messages short and calm. Say who you are, what you want to post, and ask if it fits. Do not argue about a removal in your first message.
