What is Flair on Reddit?
Flair is a small label on a post or next to a username that shows its topic, type or the member's role.
On a post, flair might say Question, Discussion or Showcase. Next to a username, it might say what the person does or what gear they use.
Some subreddits force you to pick a post flair. If you skip it, your post can be removed by a bot.
If you are promoting something
Pick the honest flair. Marking a promotional post as Discussion to dodge a rule is a quick way to get banned.
